Lusher Charter School is in partnership with Tulane University.
Lusher Middle School acts as the bridge between Lusher Lower School and Lusher High School. Its curriculum is strategically designed to help students make that transition. A strong focus on literacy across all subject areas helps to ensure that students continue developing new reading, comprehension, and writing skills. Teachers engage in various professional development opportunities and apply new techniques in their instructional delivery.
A focus on formative and summative assessment helps teachers at each grade level target their instruction to meet the needs of individual students and provide appropriate accommodations.
Our 21st century classrooms support interactive, project-based work. Each instructional space has 3-5 desktop computers, a Smartboard, Elmo, and access to wireless laptop carts for specific projects.
